ANWAR JOHARI HO
Writer. Director.
Graduating from the University of Reading, UK, Anwar’s thesis short film Forget Me Not garnered accolades at multiple festivals, and his subsequent short, Burung-Burung, premiered at Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival (2020), winning the Jury Prize Award at the Mini Film Festival (2021). His next short film, Fish Balls (2024) had its international premiere at the Ngilngig Fantastic Asian Film Festival. He has also directed multiple shorts and web series in Phnom Penh, Cambodia in 2021.
An alumnus of the inaugural Malaysian Development Lab for Fiction Feature Films (mylab) in 2022, he's now developing his debut feature film, Under Foreign Skies. Beyond film, Anwar relishes spoiling his cat Clementine, gaming, and of course, watching films.
Eleanor teh

Eleanor Teh graduated with a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the UK. With a keen interest and passion for filmmaking and utilizing her degree to the fullest, she set out to produce all of Anwar’s films. Her films frequently portray characters seeking closure from traumatic pasts.
In 2018, she founded Zi An Pictures with her forever partner in crime, Anwar Johari Ho.
Currently developing two feature films titled Under Foreign Skies (MY) by Anwar Johari Ho and Paper Tiger (SG) by Regina Teo, she is also an alumnus of the inaugural Malaysian Development Lab for Fiction Feature Films (mylab) in 2022 and is currently a fellow of Busan Asian Film School (AFiS) in 2023.

At the tender age of 15, Joeline Wong demonstrated remarkable talent and ambition by writing, producing, and directing a 30-minute short film.
in 2021, she produced a short film titled "Kelinguh," directed by Jeremy Emang Jecky. This film garnered attention at Seashorts 2021 and was also screened at the Mini Film Festival 2021.
In addition to her work in film, Wong has made significant contributions to the advertising industry as a commercial producer. She has produced commercials for brands such as Braun Büffel, Uniqlo, and Sime Darby - further establishing her versatility and skill in the field.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Wong is the mother of two cats, Risu and Noya.
